ABOUT ME
I began my fitness career 18 years ago, and I’ve never looked back. I’ve had the privilege of training so many individuals, ranging from average individuals wanting to get fitter, athletes competing in various competitions and injury patients wanting to simply get moving again.
I put myself in the shoes of my clients in order to fully feel whatever challenges they may be facing, and, as a team, we create an organized and calculated plan to ensure they reach their goals. Every person is exquisitely unique in their challenges and habits, so I get down to the nitty gritty of my clients’ emotions, life events, schedules and lifestyle habits in order to empower them to rewire their mindsets and actions toward achieving more optimal movement and nutrition habits.
I truly love this collaborative approach, as every client has also taught me so much about how to improve myself as well.
Through my passion for looking deeper, Inner Self Fitness Movement was born. I have realized that, in order to create a healthier mind and body, we must explore our true inner selves. By understanding how our bodies move and our daily internal dialogue, we are more equipped to create a balance between lifestyle and fitness, a place where we can truly learn to love movement and ourselves again.

For the fitness side, Erwin created a program which suited exactly how I like to train and personalised it to me after I pointed out exactly what my body goals were. He even knew me better than myself and included muscle build where he knew I would appreciate it. Not only did he create the perfect gym program for me, but he also created a nutrition plan. Not a boring nutrition plan, but a realistic plan where I could still enjoy my food but taught me how to view food as fuel for my body.
The plans are updated and developed according to my progression. They have always been so exciting and keep me enthusiastic about training. Naturally, I still have unmotivated times and life hurdles, but Erwin adjusts my training to support me through this.
It is no question that Erwin is a great personal trainer, but he is so much more than this. Erwin puts so much energy and time into all his clients. Erwin introduced me to understanding my emotional intelligence. Not all our training sessions involve training in the gym. We have a lot of mental health talks where he has taken the time to understand my brain and how to communicate certain things to me, which has allowed me to understand myself deeper. He would introduce me to mental exercise that challenge my thought process and brain patterns. He has helped me become the person I am today, and I love him for this.
Erwin is such a wise man with the kindest heart, and anyone would be lucky to have him in their lives. I appreciate him immensely.
